Mrs. Nakintu, a grandmother, was living in a dilapidated house that posed a significant risk to her life and the lives of her five children. The house was on the verge of collapse, and the family’s living conditions were dire. Moreover, they lacked access to a proper latrine, forcing them to resort to open defecation, which is not only undignified but also a health hazard.
Fortunately, when we hosted our Canadian partners, they were moved by Mrs. Nakintu’s situation and decided to intervene. With their support, we were able to build a new house for the family, complete with a latrine. This new home provides a safe and secure environment for Mrs. Nakintu and her children to live in dignity.
In addition to the new house, we also provided the family with essential items such as beddings and clothes. This comprehensive support has transformed the lives of Mrs. Nakintu and her children, providing them with a sense of security and stability.
We are grateful to our Canadian partners for their kindness and generosity, which has made a significant difference in the lives of this vulnerable family.
