Brenda Mukamuliza was a happily married woman with two children. However, during her third pregnancy, she was surprised to learn she was expecting triplets. When the time came to deliver, her husband was away at work. Upon hearing the news that his wife had given birth to triplets, he was initially happy but later decided not to return home, fearing he could not handle caring for three additional children.
Left alone and overwhelmed, Brenda sought help from the District authorities, who referred her to Kassanda Children’s Aid (KCA). When KCA visited her, she requested support in caring for her children, who were very ill at the time.
Through the support of KCA and its partners, Brenda was provided with a new home, complete with all necessary bedding and nutritious food to boost her children’s immunity and help treat their illnesses. With this support, her children recovered fully and are now attending school.
Thanks to KCA, Brenda and her children now have a safe, nurturing home and a brighter future.
