Nalongo, a mother of twins, once faced a very difficult period in her life. After misunderstandings with her husband, she was forced to leave her marital home and began renting a house with her children. Unfortunately, unaccustomed to the challenges of rental life, she struggled to keep up with the rent, and eventually, the landlord evicted her. With nowhere to turn, Nalongo faced the harsh reality of homelessness.
Determined to help, Kassanda Children’s Aid, through our trusted partners, stepped in to support Nalongo and her family. We built her a safe and comfortable home on our Stephen Baker Farm and provided everything she needed to start anew, including bedding and essential household items.
Today, Nalongo and her children are living happily in their new home, safe, comfortable, and thriving. Her story is a testament to resilience, hope, and the transformative power of community support.
