Since Seed Junior School was opened it has been so hard to save firewood. We had to buy three trips worth of firewood in three month (one term), each one costing 250,000 UGS. This was too much for a school that is just starting out and we did not want to raise school fees from the pupils we have at the school. We raised the concern to our partner, Mrs. Stacy, and she reached out to our donors. They responded positively and we have managed to build TWO ‘saving stoves’ at Seed Junior school and put another one at Pastor’s home who stays with most of the children on holidays. We are so humbled by our partners who are behind all these achievements and helping us to make them happen.
